A Little Bit of History If You Are Interested (Part 2)

Bangkok trip was good! We stayed in a hotel for 3 nights, ate, shopped, everything was so fantastic.Baby-making plans were not really in my mind, though I wished it could happen.

Back home two weeks later, I drove to see gynae for follow-up after my work one day. It was the very first time I drove myself there. Hubby was doing a turn-around flight to Jakarta. Gynae asked if my menses was here, I said no. He did a scan on me, said lining quite thick, menses could be here soon. Nevertheless, he asked me to do a urine test. Urine sample was passed to the nurse. She came in with a positive pregnancy test indicator! Gynae was so happy, he congratulated me, said I must introduce more clients to him! I was stunned with the result.

Mum was the first one to know the good news. I drove home very carefully. Had my dinner, lied on bed. Hubby came back, saw the pregnancy indicator and was thrilled! Later, he told me he had the intention to do a part-time course… ok… hahah… he told me at that point of time, maybe he worried that he got to shelve the plan due to my pregnancy?

I had lots of worries during the first trimester. Morning sickness was not that bad. I also tried not to let my colleagues know, very pantang.

I had a feeling I was carrying a baby girl, true indeed. My complexion improved. Pregnancy was so wonderful. I put on weight steadily, gained a few kilograms every month. Thinking back now, it was so scary. However, back then, I did not worry much about weight gain. I was just simply too happy and enjoying myself.

As I got pregnant almost right after my surgery, I needed to do a c-section. It was scheduled when my pregnancy reached around 38 weeks.
