Hari Raya & Long Weekend

So fast, long weekend over already.

On Monday, after a not very smooth traffic, difficulty in getting a parking lot, super long queue, crying baby, we finally got Evan’s passport from the immigration.

Lesson learnt #1: avoid collecting such stuff on the eve of public holidays, because we were not the only ones on holiday.

Lesson learnt #2: Evan loves gai gai, but traffic must be smooth, ample parking lots, so this little prince won’t lose his patience.

Hari Raya

Things went quite smooth, except Evan was a little difficult to handle in the beginning and Isabel was sticky to me.  We did not take a single picture.  The girl is not close to in laws.  Mother-in-law planted high hopes on Evan, hopefully he is closer to them, but Evan is a little bit worst than his sister.  He already knows how to recognize people at 7mths+.

Half way through visiting, hubby got called up for a long flight.  I am ok if he does a short flight, but never dream he has to be away for 8 DAYS!  L

When he is back next Tuesday, he has to fly off again on Thursday.  Two weekends burnt.

Consolation #1: more flying means more money, he promised me I can go to spa, just sign his card.

Consolation #2: more flying means he does not hear so much of Evan and Isabel’s crying, which in a way is good, daddies sometimes are not as patient as mummies mah.

Wanted so much for him to stay around, but then, got to face reality.  I cannot be childish like last time, pestered him not to go to work.  Being a mother of two, I have less time to ponder such things.

Miss him a lot already, so long never have that kind of feeling.  Hubby said he missed me too, I don’t know how true.  However, sometimes women love to hear lies.

This morning came to work, no courage to wear baju kurung, am wearing “civilian”.
